  We get our slabs from environmentally responsible mills, or from foresters who salvage trees that have fallen or need to be cut due to construction or highway development. Calaggio Credenza (named for the river that flows from Avellino) is a low-board piece designed to work against a wall or as a room divider. The edge case is made of sustainable solid American black walnut; the top free-form shelf is made of a rare oversize Canadian maple burl slab with a natural-edge surround.  Calaggio Credenza was made with absolutely zero hardware; the corners and bottom are seamed via hand-cut dovetail joinery.

Rare English elm writing desk inherently “ornamented” with burl clusters and idiosyncratic

grain patterns. The desk top is balanced on a wishbone leg sculpted from reclaimed mahogany;

the opposing side base is seamed to the top via dovetailed corner edge.

Claro Walnut table with intense feathering and beautiful grain tones throughout.

At one end, base is cut and joined via precise hand tooled dovetail joinery and

the other with a slanted concave archsealed together by mulitiple layers of

reclaimed Mahogany. Butterfly inserts of Ebony secure stress cracks in the slab.

                                                        L'ONDA 

 

   

 

The frame is constructed completely of South American LPE, or sometimes referred

to as "ironwood." It is one of the world's strongest, most dense hardwoods yielding a

beautiful rich texture and deep grain. The platform floats gracefully around the mattress

yet is immensely secure and sturdy. The headboared is a very rare English Elm slab,

natural edges are shaped by unbelievable burl figure, with amazing colors and unpredictable

grain variations throughout. Available in King or Queen sizes.
